I know, I'm a bit late... but the wait is over! :) Last Monday I bought a new fabric for using as a portraits backdrop, and Joyce "volunteered" for the trial!
This picture was taken with the T1i, 2 lights setup, one snoot on the backdrop and a white umbrella on the model. Space was a bit short, so I used my standard lens (28mm - 105mm) at 83mm. f/6.3, ISO 100, 1/160s. All flashes at minimum power (I wanted to use a larger aperture to blur the background a bit).
I can't tell much about the picture, but ain't the model beautiful?

W16P16 - Back to a theme
Overall, I believe it made a better composition. Also because of the shorter lens, some cropping was needed (I didn't want to get too close to the flowers).
Anyway, here it comes :)
Done with the Canon T1i, ISO 200, 1/400s, f/9.0, focal length of 105mm (167mm equivalent).

W15P15 - What are you looking at?
Done on my T1i, ISO 100, 1/250s and f/8.0. Used my long lenses (70-300mm) all extended. Some small editing done on Picasa, including softfocus to fake a shorter depth of field. This made the lizard look a bit bigger than it really was.
