W19P19 - Grammas :)

This picture was taken during this Mother's Day, when we had a nice family lunch at home!

For sure, this was a great time for a family gathering, but also an opportunity for a nice picture :)

This one was taken using my T1i and a hot-shoe flash (430EXII). I bounced the flash at the ceiling, also using a shutter speed much slower than the synch one, to allow for the natural light coming from a window at the right side of the frame play a part on the overall illumination scheme.

Taken with 1/80s, F/4.6, ISO400.

A great memory to keep :)

W18P18 - Puppies! Would make a nice wallpaper for girls...

Here comes a picture I made during a photo session for a little girl and her mother. These puppies were some props used during the shooting and I made this one quickly between dressing changes.

It is a bit blown out, by design. I kinda liked the mood it created :)

I know there are some things to make it better, I'll try again some day.

Made with my Canon T1i, a standard 2 lights setup at mid power. Camera setup was: 1/160s f/13.0 ISO100.
